We fell in love with Charlie and Penny of @chasingfurrytales. They reside in the Sunshine State and are two dogs living the mutt life.
After we stopped drooling at Charlie and Penny’s photos we interviewed them what they love best about Freya’s Floral Company.
I woke up to my dog laying on my chest with her head on my shoulder, I can repeat that everyday.
I don’t really drink either of them but if I were going to choose between the two it would be Tea
Happy, flowers in general make me happy so adding them to an animal is just an explosion of happiness.
Try and keep your pet as still as possible when trying to tie it.
The way they can soften any pets features and the beautiful craftsmanship that goes into making the flower crown. you can truly tell the love that goes into each piece by the flowers selected and the arrangement.

Ok we made that up she didn’t say that but we wanted to introduce our FIRST CAT ON OUR BLOG – say hello to Maple / @maple.cat who is totally rocking her flower crowns.
I’d most likely have tea! I save coffee for the times where I really need caffeine to get work done haha. I also wouldn’t move away from my fur babies. I love snuggling with them while I read!
Putting a flower crown on Maple made me incredibly happy! I had been longing for a crown thanks to our friend and inspiration, leo.mainecoon. I had been training Maple to balance things on top of his head, so it was a proud moment when he adorned a crown and it managed to stay!
My method is to use clicker training with my cats. I’ve been clicker training Maple ever since he was a kitten. He is very easy to train because he is super treat motivated. I’ve trained him to do tricks like shake, high five, stand, and more. So the process was the same balancing objects on his head.
My favorite thing about Yarely’s flower crowns is that her designs are unique and not replicated. It is truly special to own such a beautiful art piece!

We asked the Queen if she could make some time for us. She was quite gracious.
We got to sleep in! We being Addie and I. She likes to crawl under the blankets and spoon when we have lazy mornings.

They make her feel as fierce as she looks in them, I’m sure of it. It’s so funny to watch the gears in her brain work like “oh, I gotta pose now” ? I feel like they bring out her inner Beyoncé.
I literally can’t get enough of them! They are so dainty and sweet. I love playing dress up with Addie and find it so cute to see her all girlied up when she is SUCH a tom boy irl.

Many moons ago around this time I would be occupied planning for the festival season.
I’m older now so the closest I’m going to get to dancing under the full moon barefoot and fancy free will be by dressing up my girls.
I woke up Orbit snuggling my neck and Maggie snoring in my armpit. I was initially going to go to the 6am yoga class. With the dexterity of a one armed bandit I rescheduled my class to 9am to snuggle with my two and I would gladly do that any day of the week.
Coffee latte please.
I feel an unexplainable burst of giggles coming out of me. They seriously look so cute and it’s almost as if they are gladly wearing them and being boho puppies.
I get them in the seated position. TREAT. Then I tie them on and feed them a few more treats.
I love the hands that made them. I love how much though the creator Yarely, owner of Freya’s Floral will put into each piece and how she thinks about each dog and even asks about any flower preferences. So much care and attention go into each piece and it shows.

I finished a big flower crown project and I am really happy about it. It feels great to accomplish creative goals.
This question is so difficult! I am going to go with iced coffee. I drink iced coffee year round rain, or shine. There is always a batch of cold brew in the fridge. (I drink tea too!)
Seeing Freya in a flower crown makes me feel joy and creatively challenged. I like thinking about different ways to photograph her in her crowns. Flower crowns just make her look extra and they bring out the princess in her.
Ah! Where do I start? I think my favorite thing about flower crowns is the joy they bring. There’s nothing like showing a picture of Freya in a crown to friends or strangers and having them go “Oh my gosh!” There is no controversy or politics. It’s just cute pups and cats in crowns and who couldn’t love that?
