I ran across this article by Dr. Dennis Thompson about how health care was “fear – based”.
You see this every day when you get reminders to:
When it comes to food, you’ll see fresh feeders state things like:
Words matter and energetically, this approach feels contracting.
In his article he shares:
From a truly holistic perspective, we need to look at this and understand it and see the effects that it has on our lives. Using fear to attract healing is like a government that believes war will bring peace.
There is an old saying used by many spiritual teachers. It says, “You cannot worship two gods.” The two gods are fear and love. If your life focuses on fear, you cannot know love. You might get glimpses of it when you are playing with your pet or hugging your grandchild, but it will only come in fleeting glances.Dr. Dennis Thomas
We live in an energetic matrix and I had never encountered a veterinarian who spoke of this, and the connection between us, source, and our animals.
I’ve seen this time and again, when I am busy, stressed or “not present” my dogs will mirror this and they will either get rashy or at the worst break out in a hot spot.

This brings me to the purpose of this post and that is to recommend you purchase this book.
Dr. Dennis Thomas advocates for the opposite of fear-based health care. He encourages you as your dog’s primary health decision-maker to consider the holistic approach.
And to do so from a positive mindset because like energy perceives like energy.
Healing occurs when we make a choice and restore our dogs to a state of being that was meant to be.
Why do I love this book? I have always chosen to tap into positive love energy as opposed to fear-based energy. It feels right to me and when you tap into this source, like energy is attracted back to you.
Dr. Dennis Thomas is also a storyteller and he’s able to explain why he chose the holistic path after 25 years as a conventional vet. Not only does he explain alternative ways to heal your animals, he talks extensively about the energy body and the often difficult to understand concepts of quantum physics.
I’ve read many books on holistic pet care and found this book to earn a place in my book collection in how we as the primary caretakers of our dogs have to take the leap of faith and explore alternative ways to healing when conventional paths are not an option.
How Is This Book A Good Read For You? If you’ve never been exposed to holistic health care, this is a fantastic book to start off with.
Thank you for reading this far, dear friends. To your own dog’s health and happiness. Best of luck in your information-seeking journey.
