I first heard about the Frosted Faces Foundation through my local vet. They had a flier in their waiting room. I was at there for my puppy’s annual exam and it struck me that there was a local organization dedicated to senior dogs. So often the attention was on puppies or young dogs and it’s rare you see organizations just focused on senior dogs.
Frosted Faces’s Foundation is a non profit that focuses on providing medical care and helping senior dogs that have no where else to go. They have key relationships with local shelters to foster those that are not adopted.
Their team takes these senior dogs in, to care and love them with the ultimate goal in placing them in a furever home.
GO FUND ME PARTNERSHIP
Go Fund me contacted us to partner in helping a local organization of our choice. I immediately though of Frosted Faces. Even though I had not visited their facility I reached out to let them know we were going to do a fundraiser through our Instagram community.
We launched the campaign the early part of 2018 and members of our community together raised just under $800. Go Fund Me even donated $250 towards the foundation.
I wanted to deliver the check in person, so we arranged a meeting and below is a video highlighting our visit with the Frosted Faces Foundation.
Maggie and Orbit came along and we have a fun visit mingling with their fosters and their founders.
Their founders Kelly and Andy were extremely welcoming. They explained how they started and how they maintained focus on helping those dogs that were abandoned in shelters. You can learn more about their organization by visiting their website.
We thank all of those that supported us in this fundraiser and this video is dedicated to you.
